Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and optimization of mechanical components for automotive powertrain systems. Components include shafts, couplings, flanges, housings, clutches etc.
  • Analysis of mechanical systems, including Finite Element analysis for structural, fatigue, thermal, vibration, and acoustics.
  • Analysis and specification of electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems
  • Develops manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards
  • Construct and oversee technicians in construction of developed systems
  • Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Confer with system engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

Skills:

  • Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and FE analysis

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience
  • Autodesk Inventor and Algor preferred.

Job Profile :
  • Attending customers enquiries and co –ordination with them on call.
  • Lead Generation, cold calling to accumulate new customers / Emailing
  • To plan and discuss visit schedules every week with Reporting Person
  • Reaching out to new customers and explaining them the benefits of products
  • To collect information the customer regarding their current purchases
  • Making follow-up calls to confirm order status
  • Assist to Sr. Manager in daily activities and task
  • Responsible for increase the sale of silverline products
  • To conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products

Job Profile:
  • Responsibilities and tasks vary from role to role but maintenance engineers may typically be involved in:
  • designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;
  • carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults;
  • diagnosing breakdown problems;
  • fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly;
  • carrying out quality inspections on jobs;
  • liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues;
  • arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
  • controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
  • monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
  • dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
